Help - Using Tango Trade
When you first log in, you are taken to your "Control Panel." Here, you can go to any part of the site, most notably the "Main Markets" section, which is always linked to at the top-left of the screen.
The "Main Markets" page is your first step to finding a desired product. If a market is not listed, it means there are no products for it at the time. If you wish to place a "WTB" or "WTS"(also linked on the top menu) for any product, the market(manufacturer) will be automatically added to the list.
Within the BID/ASK page there are four main categories to organize your Network Equipment needs as well as a table at the top which shows others interest in the specific equipment you have selected.
The “Bid Form” allows you to make a “Bid” on the selected equipment, giving you options of the quantity you are looking to purchase as well as the price (per item) you are willing to pay.
The “Ask Form” allows you to “Ask” anyone within the Tango Trade system if they are looking for equipment you are offering to sell. Quantity, price(per item), retail price (optional), warranty, comments, and condition are all requirements when asking if anyone needs the selected equipment.
Remember: Tango Trade lists the bid and ask prices in order so the best sell(ask) price is viewable to the bidders, and the best buy(bid) price is viewable to the sellers. This gives everyone a clear view of the market and their potential revenues.
The “Buy” section allows you to directly purchase equipment that is listed from the “Sell” category. Unlike the “Bid Form” this is not a chance to see if any sellers will post lower prices. You must understand and know that when placing a “Buy” order, you have agreed to the set price displayed by the seller. Make sure that you have selected the specific equipment you are looking for and then enter the quantity of equipment you would like to purchase. If the best price item(listed at the top of the list) is NOT the one you wish to order, enter the sellers “AskID” to specify which “Ask” you wish to purchase.
The “Sell” section allows you to provide equipment for sale to any Tango member looking to “Buy” specific equipment. If the trade you wish to make is not the best priced one(listed at the top of the list), enter the corresponding “BidID” of your desired choice and provide the quantity in which you can provide the desired equipment.
