Help - Dealer/Enduser
Over the last year and since the change of the ISP-EQUIPMENT LIST into a fee based system, multiple different competing lists came into existence. Two, more of less, have occupied center stage. One being a Dealers Only list and the other being a free for all with Dealers and End-Users. The logic behind the Dealers Only list is to protect the profit margins that dealers get when buying amongst themselves and knowing what the inter-dealer pricing is. If the end-user does not know what the inter-dealer pricing is there is advantage and profit maximization the dealer have when reselling gear to end-users. However, a free for all list will steadily deteriorate dealer margins.
This application allows a separation between the Dealer and End-User markets. When a user signs into the system and selects 'Dealer' we will then conduct a quick background check to see if they are in fact truly a dealer. If they are, we will then grant them dealer access, until then they are a Dealer Waiting To Be Activated - giving them only access to End User pricing in the Bid-Ask Markets. Once they are activated as a Dealer any and all users that are part of that organization will then also have access to Dealer pricing. Having created this dual system, we, meaning you and I, can participate in an inter-dealer marketplace while also maintaining the ability to state End User pricing for our stock. There are only so many of us out there, but there is a much larger mass market of End Users. By doing it this way, we will be also able to hopefully pick off retail sales using this system. Although, the system has been designed with two unqiue market mechanisms for Dealers and End Users, I believe at the core to maintain the integrity of the inter-dealer markets first and foremost. |
